Synopsis
The 1930s in the United States during the Great Depression, where conditions are tough and corruption and the mafia dominate the place. Mary, a member of the opposition party, enlists the cartoonist Steven Briggs to influence the election campaign in favor of the opposition party and tarnish the reputation of President Robert Egan. Steven and the media crew from the New York Times will work to uncover the conditions the country is going thru, while Steven faces a tumultuous personal life, trying to discover himself and his relationships with those closest to him.
