The Plague: Judgement Day

Synopsis

The Bible, in Revelations, speaks of a Judgement day. In many ways, humanity has already had over two thousand years to prepare for it. In reality, when it does come, no one will be ready.

Anyone who has ever attended church, Sunday school, or frankly watched a late-night 1970s horror film has heard of Judgement Day. For thousands of years, the concept has been used to instill fear into people, more recently through fiery sermons at a Sunday church service or in a 3:00 am TV movie.

What if the stories were real? What if Revelation wasn’t just a Vatican fairy tale, but a real prophecy, given to us by a greater intelligence? Okay, take away the four horsemen and the brimstone, but keep the end of days and the concept of humanity as a whole being judged. Welcome to The Plague, Judgement Day.

This is the situation Mike Polson, a middle-aged family man, finds himself in when he starts having strange and violent dreams. As a result of the dreams, he ends up in an unusual clinic, one that sits in a dark part of town when what seems to be a plague erupts.

He and many others become trapped in the clinic as the plague erupts. After several days and losing communication with the outside world, a group of patients, led by a former Special Ops unit commander, break out, only to find themselves in what seems to be Dante’s Inferno.

The question soon becomes, what would you do? Do you find your family in hopes that they may have survived or stick with the group, the best chance for your survival?
