When a member of his team is killed after the attempted capture of the wanted hitwoman, Zora Cage, Keaton goes into seclusion. Norris, the ruthless crime lord with a vendetta against Cage, tracks down Keaton, demanding, under threat of death, that he finish what he was paid to do. Capture or kill, Zora.

Cage, meanwhile, is chasing the bounty on a rogue Scientist, believed to be hiding in a remote facility in the Highlands, having made a monumental (and potentially lucrative) discovery. Keaton is given the intel that the bounty is a trap to lure Cage out, and he gathers his former team to intercept and take Zora out.

After another face-off, Cage escapes again and hunkers down in the remote facility, which has an underground lab. Keaton and his crew arrive soon after and search for a way in, but once inside, they find signs of blood and carnage, and the last few survivors have shut themselves in underground, refusing to come out.

When Keaton makes an explosive entrance, little does he realise that he’s helping to let loose an escaped creature, thawed from deep ice that is the perfect killing machine. As more victims fall to the creature, Keaton’s only hope of survival will lie in a reluctant partnership with Zora, and they will face a battle to survive. The question is, just how many more creatures are there?
