Elena is an artist with a big reputation based on her breakout works, but has been idle for several years, and unable to produce her sophomore collection. She makes tentative steps to release new work when promoter Guy sets up a long-awaited exhibition. 

Struggling to sleep and control hedonistic and self-destructive urges, Elena hits a creative wall but is given a reprieve when a friend lends her the use of a remote Holiday home. Elena heads to the idyllic cottage, near the coast, intent on hunkering down and creating some paintings worthy of her reputation, but she cannot escape artistic block. 

Mandy arrives after a mistake leads to a double booking, and her free-spirited nature intrigues Elena. With Mandy stuck, Elena agrees to let her stay as long as she doesn’t distract her from work. Initially, Mandy becomes something of an inspiring muse but slowly starts to take Elena’s focus off work, and Elena is plagued by visions and troubling blackouts. Elena starts to feel another, more malevolent presence that makes her question her reality. 

Her art comes with a violent cost, and her dark repressed past will break out with catastrophic results. This art is to die for!
