Withdrawal Method
Three struggling roommates—Cameron, Lucy, and Max—unintentionally find themselves caught up in the dangerous world of gangland violence. Living together in a low-rent apartment, each faces their own challenges. Cameron works at a diner while dealing with the pressure of caring for his aging father, a responsibility his wealthy stepbrother is eager to dump on him due to his influencer wife’s renovation plans. Lucy, Cameron’s girlfriend, works at a bank, but her meagre salary barely covers her bills. On top of that, she’s enduring sexual harassment from her manager, Holberg, who implies her life could improve if she’s willing to comply with his advances. Max, the immature party guy of the trio, has a decent job as a museum curator, but his reckless behaviour leads him into a botched drug deal, leaving him in serious debt to some dangerous people.
Their situation spirals out of control when Cameron and Lucy return home to find Max brutally beaten and their apartment wrecked by thugs. In the aftermath, Lucy jokingly suggests they rob her bank to solve their problems. The idea, initially dismissed as absurd, starts to seem plausible as they discuss it further. The group sets a date for the heist, unaware that a ruthless gang, with Holberg as their inside man, is planning to hit the bank on the same day.
On the day of the robbery, Lucy takes her position as a teller, giving Cameron specific instructions on timing and positioning. Disguised in a rubber mask and suit, Cameron is ready, but he’s momentarily distracted by a traffic cop. Meanwhile, the real bank robbers arrive, with one of them wearing an identical disguise. Confusion ensues as the gangster exits the bank with the money but mistakenly tosses the cash to Cameron, thinking he’s part of their crew. The gangsters speed off empty-handed, leaving Cameron in possession of a large bag of stolen cash.
As the roommates celebrate their unexpected windfall, things take a dark turn. The gangsters—TikTok Tariq, Budgie, and their sadistic boss Mr. Hook—begin a relentless hunt for the amateur robbers. They show no mercy, even killing Holberg as they close in on the trio. To make matters worse, these are the same criminals that Max owes money to. Realizing they’re in over their heads, the roommates consider returning the money, but the gangsters are closing in fast, using every resource at their disposal to track them down.
With time running out and their lives at stake, Max devises a bold plan to outwit the gangsters—a plan that requires nerves of steel. The question is, can the three friends pull it off and escape with their lives?
