About
I am a passionate designer, teacher, writer, music enthusiast and dad joke expert. Twenty-five years of teaching in public high school have given me interpersonal perspectives on discipline, patience, persistence and excellence. My life stories are about successful kids who contribute as adults. I exhibit these fulfilling experiences in my original way through each work.
A Kansas native, I studied architecture at Kansas State University and completed an education degree. I love design theory and creative expression. I became a father to two amazing sons. Drew and Blake will always have a piece of my heart. In 2007 I was nominated as the Master Teacher of the Year, teaching film and design classes.
In 2018, I married my beautiful wife, Darcy, a choice I cherish every single day.
In 2023, I completed The Little Star, an inspiring story of Little Star's meaningful exploration for a shining spirit. This children’s story expresses all the esteem-boosting traits parents think of when they hope their children flourish. With poignant, plush illustrations and relatable characters from beginning to end, this is a book that families will love reading over and over.
Lee Taylor Work has been my passion for several years. I have written several novels, children’s fiction, feature screenplays, limited series screenplays, short stories, self-help books, and educational philosophy text. He has also taught film, engineering and architecture. Quality Characters. Quality Stories. Quality Content. These are the guiding principles behind every project developed at Lee Taylor Works. Every project is intended to entertain and relate to your life experiences. Visit leetaylorworks.com for more.
