Ishika is an independent filmmaker and writer based in Vancouver passionate about storytelling, cinematography and animating through films. Ishika graduated from Emilycarr University of Art and Design with a bachelor's in film and a diploma in 2D character animation. Ishika has assisted and volunteered for many film productions, documentaries and features around Vancouver with local and emerging artists to find their creative voices. Ishika has also won the stop motion animated short of 2018 in the United Arab Emirates best animation and filmshowcase of the people. Ishika currently resides in Vancouver as an editor, director and Production assistant for companies such as Blue Plate and Fleetwood Films.
