Budding filmmakers sometimes need a short subject to show their mettle. Is this you? Do you have the skills, a talented group of actors, and a crew, yet nothing to produce? Many screenwriters (like me) are in need of a teaser, just a scene or two, not a whole narrative, to show the potential of their script, but do not have the resources to make that happen.
On the other end, some filmmakers may have the resources; like cameras, locations, and people, but nothing of substance to produce.
On both sides, none of us have the budget to do more than seek volunteers and work with our best friends to make our marks.
If you are in such a predicament, and want to create a short reel, how do you get it done?
